"She is one of the most innately talented students I’ve had in my teaching career, including being a professor at Yale, Harvard, Columbia, and other schools of distinction. " - Michael Sorkin

"Her approach is never linear; instead investigative; and ultimately a synthesis that manifests the idea. She recognizes the phenomenological situation that a spectator embodies when there is a situation placed before them" - Ron Lem

Born and raised in South Africa, I have been immersed in a society rich in complex narratives, which has shaped my perspective and instilled in me a passion for design that goes beyond conventional boundaries. With a completed Masters degree and a wealth of well-rounded experience, I bring a unique combination of artistic talent and technical innovation to the table.

Throughout my career, I have been recognized for my efficiency and diligence, often being sought after by co-workers and managers for my assistance and expertise. In my current position at STV Incorporated, I manage a team of interns while working on demanding projects such as the new Terminal One at Newark Liberty International Airport. I thrive in high-pressure situations and am driven by the thrill of meeting challenging deadlines.

My experience encompasses a diverse range of projects, including aeronautical projects such as Newark Airport, correctional facilities like Rikers Island in New York and Worcester County Jail, educational design with the New York School Construction Authority, and transportation projects with MTA transit. Additionally, I have contributed to publications such as "Waste Not" through Terreform, a non-profit research organization, and "Homegrown," which explores potential new urban policies in New York City. I have also collaborated directly with esteemed urban design professor and practitioner Michael Sorkin on a competition in Saudi Arabia at Michael Sorkin Studios. My work has been published in the Spitzer School of Architecture City Works X: 2014-2017 and remains part of the CUNY Library collection. Notably, I have been honored with the "Lebbeus Woods Award for Visionary Design" and the "Extech Award for Excellence in Technology" at the Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture.

My expertise extends beyond architecture, as I have immersed myself in diverse cultural environments. Working throughout Africa, I have gained valuable insights and even learned Swahili to foster effective communication and teamwork. In response to urgent needs, I have also delved into interiors and furniture design, demonstrating my versatility and adaptability.

My expertise, ranging from robotics to airport construction documents, proves my malleability with limits utilized to its best potential within design.
